Janis Mars Wunderlich is a nationally recognized ceramic artist, currently working as an associate professor of art at Monmouth College, Monmouth, IL.

 

Wunderlich was born in Akron, Ohio and received a BFA from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and an MFA from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH.

 

She blends animal, plant, and other natural elements in her narrative figures to celebrate stories of nurturing, resilience, reciprocity, and spirituality.
